| ITIL | De Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is een reeks gedetailleerde werkwijzen voor IT-activiteiten zoals IT-servicebeheer (ITSM) en IT-activabeheer (ITAM) die zich richten op het afstemmen van IT-services op de behoeften van het bedrijf. ITIL beschrijft processen, procedures, taken en checklists die noch organisatiespecifiek noch technologiespecifiek zijn, maar door een organisatie kunnen worden toegepast in de richting van strategie, het leveren van waarde en het handhaven van een minimaal competentieniveau. Het stelt de organisatie in staat om een baseline vast te stellen van waaruit het kan plannen, implementeren en meten. Het wordt gebruikt om naleving aan te tonen en verbetering te meten. Er is geen formele onafhankelijke externe nalevingsbeoordeling beschikbaar voor ITIL-naleving in een organisatie. |
